I want to take this oppertunity to address my friends in Licking and Coshocton counties…actually, everybody who reads this.
The previous entry was not intended to be any kind of slam on any school or town whatsoever. This piece, like most of the pieces on this website, was meant to be lighthearted and tounge in cheek. I lived in Licking County for 19 years of my life, and only mentioned the names of the instituions because I know a lot of my readers are from that area too, and I wanted to give them a point of reference.
I’m truly very sorry if anybody stumbled upon this and was offended. My intention was 100% to amuse, and to share an angle of a routine event that perhaps many people don’t often see….certainly not to take a shot at anybody.
This isn’t a Bill Clinton apoology. Its important to me that nobody get the wrong idea here, both professionally, and personally.

I’m confused. Are you talking about the high school football entry? I’m not really sure what could have been offensive about it. Did you get some sort of backlash from it? Huh?
